Shadow Of The Tomb Raider: Can Lara speak English?

Eidos Montreal eliminates the confusion surrounding the language barrier of Shadow of the Tomb Raider Key or its absence.

Shortly after the release of Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Steam CD Key, fans and critics expressed confusion over Lara's use of the languages ​​spoken between the protagonist and the NPC. If you activate an option called Immersion mode, the characters can speak in their native language, but Lara only speaks English and other characters who do not speak English seem to understand them.

The truth is that Lara does not speak English. She speaks Spanish or any language that a character directs. The main designer of the game, Heath Smith, admitted that it was not clear to the players and that it was a missed opportunity.

There may be a scene in which she speaks some words in that language and then changes to English. You realize that she is constantly talking to people in her language.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider closes the cycle of the original stories developed by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal. The story began with Tomb Raider 2013 and Rise of the Tomb Raider followed in 2015.
