Following its acclaimed remake of Resident Evil 2, Capcom is going back to Raccoon City to rework the next entry in the survival horror series. Resident evil 3 will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC on April 3, 2020.
According to a post on twitter, the game was named "Escape" during the development process, and it emerged due to high fan demand.The game will follow the original like a resident evil 2 remake, but with a few changes and rearrangements, "so that people who are familiar with the original can enjoy it." the game is reportedly 90 percent complete, so there will be no delay.
Despite part of the trailer being in first-person, the game will be played from the over-the-shoulder perspective that RE2 also used.Jill's outfit has been redesigned so that it "wouldn't look uncomfortable" during action, as this game is "a lot more action-packed" than Resident Evil 2.
In the remake, carlos' looks have changed, but so has his demeanor, and he's more mature now. Brad Vickers has clearly changed even more and will play a different role in the remake, but the producers aren't ready to discuss it yet.
The interview also promises that there will be plenty of maps for Resident Evil Resistance, the new multiplayer mode also included with Resident Evil 3.
